청소년 전통문화∙예술축제가 오는 19일 토요일 오후 6시 청소년과 일반시민을 대상으로 열려 한여름밤의 무더위를 식혀준다.
청소년 전통문화예술단체인 진포문화예술원 주관으로 청소년들이 직접 참여하고 체험하는 청소년 전통문화∙예술축제는 진포문화예술원 ‘한바라기’와 군산여상 ‘소리샘’의 사물놀이, 군산청소년국악실내악단공연, 군산청소년가야금연주단 가야금연주 등 청소년들의 전통문화에 대한 열정과 끼를 선보인다.
2008년부터 매년 추진하고 있는 청소년문화존행사는 청소년 문화존으로 지정된 은파관광지 수변무대에서 매월 1회 청소년들의 열정과 끼를 발휘할 수 있는 전통문화예술제, 비보이배틀대회, 팝 오케스트라와의 협연 등 다양하고 건전한 청소년 문화행사 사업을 추진해 청소년과 일반시민들로부터 많은 참여와 좋은 호응을 얻고 있다.
시 관계자는 “앞으로도 건전한 청소년문화발전을 위해 다양한 프로그램을 개발하고 보급하는데 주력하고 청소년 문화존 행사에 다수의 청소년과 시민들의 많은 관심과 참여를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
