군산시립도서관이 여름방학을 맞아 다양한 독서 관련 특강을 마련해 오는 27일부터 8월 24일까지 4주간 운영한다.
모집분야는 ▲표현력 향상 글쓰기(초등1~2학년,20명) ▲사고력 확장 글쓰기(초등3~4학년,20명) ▲영어랑 놀자(초등3~4학년,20명) ▲테마별 역사논술(초등5~6학년,30명) ▲자기 주도 학습 훈련(초등5~6학년,20명) ▲교과서 속 단편문학 읽기(중학생,30명) 등 모두 6개 강좌로 총 모집인원은 140명이다.
수강생 모집은 오는 13일부터 인터넷으로만 접수를 받으며, 홈페이지에 동시 접속한 인원이 많을 경우 혼란이 예상되어 강좌별 신청 일시를 다르게 했으니 유의해서 신청하면 된다.
또한 임피채만식도서관에서도 여름방학을 맞아 26일부터 30일까지 5일간, 오전 9시 40분부터 오전 12시까지, ‘여름독서교실’을 운영한다.
방학기간 중 도서관에서의 다양한 문화체험을 접할 수 있는 기회를 제공함으로써 어린이들이 도서관을 친근한 이웃으로 생각해 독서습관이 생활속에 자연스럽게 스며들도록 유도하기 위해 마련했다.
참가대상은 관내 초등학교 3~6학년 학생을 대상으로 하며, 참여인원은 30명 내외이다.
