문화관광해설사회 장학금 기탁 릴레이 동참

군산시 문화관광해설사회(회장 고하영)는 3일 지역 교육발전을 위해 써달라며 장학금 100만원을 군산교육발전진흥재단에 기탁했다.

이번에 기탁된 장학금은 문화관광해설사들이 현장에서 자원봉사하며 받은 활동비를 아껴 마련한 것으로 그 의미가 더욱 뜻 깊다.

고하영 회장은 “지역의 자랑스러운 일꾼을 양성하는데 작은 보탬이 되기를 바라며, 앞으로도 문화관광해설사들은 자원봉사자로서 지역 사회의 발전을 위해 더욱 힘써 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

문동신 이사장은 “항상 관광의 최일선에서 고생하시는 해설사들의 정성과 마음에 감사드리며, 다양한 교육사업 지원으로 명품교육도시 건설에 더욱 매진해 나갈 것”이라고 답했다.

한편 문화관광해설사는 역사∙문화∙자연 등 관광자원 전반에 대한 기본지식과 소양을 갖춘 자원봉사자로서 현재 30명이 활동하고 있으며, 지역을 방문한 관광객들의 감상, 체험기회를 돕고 있다.
