새만금에어쇼 인기절정 기대감

2009군산새만금에어쇼가 오는 31일과 11월1일 새만금군산산업전시관 전면 상공에서 한국공군 및 미공군이 참여한 가운데 개최된다.

군산 새만금방조제 도로 인근에서 지난해에 이어 두 번째로 개최되는 이번 에어쇼는 새만금 사업과 새만금군산경제자유구역개발의 성공적인 추진, 한미간의 우호증진, 한국공군 및 미공군의 첨단 비행 전투기 기술력 홍보 등을 위한 취지로 마련된다.

새만금 에어쇼는 오는 31일 오전 9시30분 새만금군산산업전시관 앞 특설무대에서 공군 군악대 및 의장대 시범으로 절도 있고 박력 넘치는 개막식이 펼쳐진다.

11시부터 오후 3시까지 한미 공군에어쇼가 31일과 11월1일 새만금전시관 전면 상공에서 대한민국 특수비행팀인 블랙이글스 등 양국 공군의 참여로 이뤄진다.

첫날인 31일 11시부터 오후5시까지 군산비행장에서는 항공기 전시체험이 열려 한미공군의 전투력을 가까이에서 볼 수 있다.

관람 희망자는 에어쇼 행사장에서 10시30분부터 운행되는 셔틀버스를 이용해 입장할 수 있다.(신분증-주민등록증, 운전면허증 지참 필수)

이날 행사에서는 군산시를 찾는 관광객에게 에어쇼 장소에서 한미공군 조종사의 팬 사인회 및 포토존 촬영, 기념품 등을 판매하고 항공 관련 비행기 및 블록 조립대회 등 다양한 체험거리가 준비돼 군산의 관광도시 이미지를 강화하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다.
