한가위 선물은 군산농산물로

민족 최대의 명절인 추석을 앞두고 군산시 농업기술센터가 지역 농산물 팔아주기를 위한 ‘군산농특산물’ 홍보 판매활동에 나섰다.

군산시는 추석명절 즈음에 생산되는 멜론, 군산배, 버섯류 등 농특산물과 지역농산물을 이용한 한과, 맥걸리, 누룽지, 떡 등 다양한 가공제품을 적극 홍보하고 있다.

특히 군산시 옥산면 일원에서 재배 판매되는 멜론은 과육이 적색인 멜론으로 베타카로틴 함량이 높고 단맛과 아삭아삭한 식감 및 멜론향이 풍부하여 웰빙선물로 큰 인기를 모으고 있다.

최재봉 농업기술센터 소장은 “이번 추석명절에도 값싸고 품질 좋은 군산농특산물 애용으로 농민에 대한 훈훈한 인정과 함께 지역경제도 살리는데 앞장서 주실 것”을 당부했다.

한편 시는 우수 농특산물의 규격, 판매가격 등을 시청 및 농업기술센터 홈페이지 등에 게시해 적은 비용으로도 큰 효과를 볼 수 있는 인적 네트워크 마케팅을 활발히 펼치고 있다.
