전국 명품섬 발전을 위한 워크숍

행안부 주최, 군산수협에서 열려

12일 군산수협에서는 행안부가 주최한 ‘2011 명품섬 Best-10 및 접경지역 특성화사업' 워크숍이 열렸다.

이번 워크숍은 지난 6월 행안부가 선정한 명품섬에 선정된 지역 주민과 인근지역 주민 100여명이 참여했다.

참여한 지역은 군산시 어청도, 강화군 교동도, 옹진군 이작도, 당진군 난지도, 거제시 내도, 사천시 신수도, 보령시 장고도권, 여수시 개도권, 통영시 연대도권, 서귀포시 가파도이다.

워크숍은 행정안전부 지역개발팀의 명품섬 및 접경특성화사업 추진방향 설명을 비롯하여 ‘창의적인 아이디어 및 경관디자인을 통한 지역경쟁력 강화’에 대한 전문가 특강, ‘지역발전 성공사례’ 발표 등의 순서로 진행되었다.

시관계자는 “이러한 행사를 군산에서 유치하게 됨으로써 전국 15개 시군 지자체 공무원 및 지역주민 등이 군산을 방문하는 계기 마련으로 어청도를 비롯한 군산시의 홍보효과가 매우 크다고 생각한다”고 전했다.
