시,6일 어버이날 기념 행사

군산시가 제39회 어버이날 기념행사를 6일 10시 군산시민문화회관에서 문동신 군산시장을 비롯한 유관기관 단체장과 어버이, 시민 등 850여명이 참석한 가운데 개최한다.

어버이에 대한 은혜에 감사하고, 우리 고유의 미풍양속인 경로효친 사상과 효행사상을 확산시켜 나가는 계기를 만들기 위해 열리는 이날 행사는 트위터밴드, 유아공연 등의 식전공연으로 문을 연다.

이어서 효행자 및 노인복지기여자 45명(도지사 3, 군산시장 7, 현죽재단 35)에 대한 표창장을 수여(전수)하고 군산시장의 기념사, 축사로 어버이날을 기념한다.

특히 이 날은 강진·미소걸스·진성 등 연예인 초청공연도 예정되어 있어 어르신들을 위한 흥겨운 위안공연 행사가 될 것이다.

한편 매년 어버이날에 효행자 등에게 시상을 해 온 사회복지법인 현죽재단(이사장 서원석)에서는 올해에도 ‘현죽 효행상’으로 우리시의 효행자 35명에게 상장과 함께 시상금(20만원)을 부상으로 전달하며, 어버이날 행사 참석자 전원에게는 기념품(양말세트)도 제공할 계획이다.
