군산시, 어린이 민방위학교 운영

군산시가 21일부터 6월 25일까지 관내 초등학생을 대상으로 어린이 민방위학교를 운영하고 있다.

어린이 민방위학교는 오전에 군산소방서에서 안전사고 예방 VTR을 시청하고 전문교육 강사의 지도하에 소화기 취급방법 등을 직접 체험하는 실습교육을 실시하고 오후에는 제9585부대 1대대인 군부대를 견학하여 안보 견학을 하는 일정으로 진행된다.

특히 6․25 제 60주년을 맞이하여 어린학생들의 안보의식 함양과 각종 재난․환경오염․범죄요인 등에 대한 신고를 생활화하기 위한 교육도 병행하여 미래의 꿈나무들에게는 좋은 경험을 할 수 있는 기회가 되고 있다.

군산시는 올 하반기에도 5일간 어린이 민방위학교를 운영할 계획으로 앞으로도 더욱 많은 학생들이 참여하고 체험할 수 있는 다양한 교육 프로그램을 진행할 계획이다.
