식물검역원호남지원, 배추 파동 검역 강화

중국산 배추 수입량 증가 검역시간 연장

국립식물검역원 호남지원(지원장 박백화)이 최근 배추값 파동 영향으로 중국산 배추 수입량이 증가함에 따라 검역을 강화하고 있다.

호남지원은 중국산 배추의 수입량이 증가함에 따라 해외병해충 유입방지를 위해 현장검사 인력을 추가로 배치하고, 표본 검사수량도 탄력적으로 확대운영(2%→3~4%)하는 등 현장검사와 실험실검사를 강화하는 있다.

또한 신속한 통관에 협조하기 위해 검역시간을 연장해 공휴일에도 검사를 실시하고 있다.

한편 정부에서는 최근 폭등세를 보이고 있는 배추값 안정을 위해 중국산 배추를 긴급 수입키로 함에 따라 11일 현재 군산항으로 66톤이 수입됐으며, 앞으로도 계속 증가할 것으로 예상하고 있다.
