군산시 주요사업 현장 점검

이학진 군산시 부시장은 16일부터 20일까지 근대역사박물관, 군장대교 건설공사, 고군산군도 연결도로 건설공사 등, 새만금시대 세계일류 도시로의 도약을 위해 군산시가 역점적으로 추진하고 있는 주요 현장 13곳을 방문한다.

이번 현장방문은 지난 1월 부서별「현안업무 보고회」와 연계해 주요 현안에 대한 상반기 추진상황을 점검하고 하반기 추진방향 및 세부 로드맵을 구체화하기 위해 마련된 것.

이 부시장은 평소 모든 문제의 해답은 현장에 있으며 항상 현장의 목소리에 귀를 기울일 것과 업무 추진에 있어 현장 중심의 상황 점검과 신속한 집행의 중요성을 누차 강조한 바 있다.

첫날인 16일에는 보건소 신축공사, 군산예술의 전당 건립, 경포∙경암분구 하수관거 정비사업 현장 등을 방문, 진행상황을 점검하고 사업 참여자의 노고를 격려하며 애로사항을 청취할 계획이다.

이학진 부시장은 그동안 다져놓은 토대위에서 현안사업들을 성공적으로 마무리하고 지역 발전의 시너지효과를 창출할 수 있도록 추진 사업에 대해서는 지속적으로 현장을 부지런히 살피는 철저한 로드체킹을 실시할 방침이다.

군산시는 앞으로도 철저한 현장 행정을 통해 사업 관계자들과 지역주민의 여론을 수렴해 추진상황 및 애로사항 등을 청취하고 문제점 등을 파악, 대안을 찾고 문제를 해결함으로써 사업 추진의 완성도를 높여 나갈 계획이다.
